Experience changes in how your body looks and feels. The connective tissue in your body gets dehydrated and causes common aches and pains. MELT helps to rehydrate this essential system in your body for vibrant health and pain-free movement! In this class we will use the MELT Hand & Foot Therapy Balls and the Soft Foam Roller. Our bodies have an innate ability to relax given the right circumstances. Restorative yoga uses a series of easy, supported poses held for a long time under the right conditions (including the use of many props) to tip the balance from “fight or flight” mode into maximal relaxation. Yogis developed these poses over many years, but science tells us that, under the conditions set in restorative yoga, immediate effects on heart rate, blood pressure and brain activity are possible. Emphasis on complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body. The classes are in the style of Relax & Renew author, Judith Lasater.

At least 3 months of prior yoga experience required. We will use your own body weight, the Yoga Wall, and other yoga props to improve strength in your core + upper and lower body.

In this class we will practice Dr. Loren Fishman’s 12 Yoga Poses for Osteoporosis. This class is for anyone who wants to build bone strength but especially those who have been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis.

REQUIRES 3+ MONTHS OF ALL LEVELS OR LEVEL 1 YOGA CLASSES and have used the Yoga Wall in at least one other class. Meet our yoga playground! Practice basic poses more confidently and progress to more challenging standing poses, back bends, forward bends, inversions & more. Our Yoga Walls use semi-suspension and natural gravity to help you increase your flexibility, lengthen the spine and deepen poses while recruiting otherwise disengaged muscles and reducing pressure on certain parts of the body.

REQUIRES 12+ MONTHS OF LEVEL 2 YOGA. In this alignment-based class, explore more challenging movements including variations of the poses you learned in Levels 1 & 2 plus new, more challenging poses including inversions, arm balances, and strength-based poses. Students need to be proficient with the use of all props, familiar with Sanskrit names of poses, and to have an understanding of inversions including shoulderstand with blankets in the middle of the room.
